Part Time Support Worker - Penryn

PART-TIME SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED - CORNWALL Location: Cornwall Pay Rate: £15.34 per hour Hours: 22.2 hours per week Contract: Immediate start - End of August 2026 Working Pattern: 3 days per week on a rolling rota (Monday-Sunday, 8am-9pm) We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join a supported housing service working with individuals experiencing mental ill health, challenging behaviour, and alcohol/substance misuse issues. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable people and helping them work towards greater independence and stability.Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting customers with day-to-day needs and wellbeing
• Developing and following support plans
• Risk assessing and managing challenging situations safely
• Maintaining accurate records and case notes
• Building positive and professional relationships with customers
• Working independently and as part of a wider support team

Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience supporting vulnerable individuals or complex needs clients Strong communication and relationship-building skills Confidence with lone working and decision making Good IT and record-keeping abilities A calm, resilient, and adaptable approach Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalismAdditional Information:
