Our client, a well-established garage in Cranleigh, Surrey, is actively recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This role offers an excellent platform to utilise your technical expertise, working in a modern, fully equipped workshop environment, with opportunities for development and progression.

Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Competitive basic salary ranging from 36,000 to 38,000, with overtime opportunities to increase earnings
  • Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, with Saturdays on a rota (1 in 2)
  • Overtime available for additional income
  • Full-time, permanent position with stable working hours
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service length

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Servicing a wide range of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Conducting suspension repairs and diagnostics efficiently and accurately
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and fault diagnosis using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Working collaboratively within the workshop team to meet customer deadlines
  • Providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs and findings in a clear manner
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism at all times
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a solid technical background in the motor trade
  • Competent in servicing, diagnostics, and suspension repairs
  • Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and develop further skills
  • Full UK driving licence
