Estate Cleansing Operatives London Borough of Hackney 16.56 - 22.32 per hour Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm The London Borough of Hackney is currently recruiting Estate Waste Operatives to join the team at Millfields Recycling Centre . This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to keeping Hackney clean, safe, and environmentally sustainable. About the Role As an Estate Waste Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and waste management standards across housing estates and recycling facilities. Duties will include: Collecting and managing household and recyclable waste Maintaining cleanliness across estate areas and around waste facilities Supporting recycling operations at our depots Ensuring waste is disposed of safely and in line with environmental regulations Interacting with residents and providing a high level of customer service What We're Looking For We're seeking reliable and hardworking individuals who: Are physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Have a strong work ethic and take pride in maintaining clean environments Can work effectively as part of a team Have good communication skills Previous experience in waste collection, street cleansing, or estate services is desirable.
