De-installation Operative - Andover Full-time £31,000 + Benefits Monday-Friday Are you practical, hands-on, and looking for a role that combines physical work with regular travel? We're seeking a reliable De-installation Operative to join a busy on-site engineering team, supporting the safe removal, movement, and management of telecoms and IT equipment across the UK and Europe. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys active work, working away during the week, and being part of a close-knit operational team where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Site Equipment De-installations De-install telecoms and technical equipment from live and decommissioned sites Recover redundant cabling and supporting infrastructure Load and unload equipment safely and organise staging areas Prepare equipment for transport and onward logistics Deliveries & Collections Assist with delivering equipment to customer sites Collect and transport stock between client locations and warehouses Support recycling movements and rack collections Asset Detailing & Stock Control Record serial numbers and apply stock labelling Assist with stock takes and inventory checks Prepare equipment for recycling, resale, or warehouse transfer What We're Looking For Strong manual handling ability and confidence working with physical equipment A team-focused attitude with the ability to work independently when required Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Basic PC skills (Word and Excel) Full UK driving licence Ability to carry out physical work safely, including lifting heavy equipment Working Environment You'll primarily work off-site at customer premises across the UK and occasionally Europe.
