Quantity Surveyor About the Role A leading organisation within the UK energy and infrastructure sector is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of major utility and renewable energy projects across Scotland on a 12-month contract basis. This hybrid role will focus on cost control, contract administration, commercial reporting, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maximising profitability and commercial performance. About You You are an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background working within utilities, infrastructure, energy, or civil engineering environments and are confident managing commercial activities across multiple projects. You are organised, commercially aware, and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-moving project environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail. Essential Experience & Qualifications Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within utilities, infrastructure, civil engineering, energy, or renewable sectors. Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs. Experience working under NEC contracts. FIDIC contract experience is essential. Previous experience supporting Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects is essential. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
