Salary : 14.82 per hour PAYE Working Schedule : 37 hours per week. Tuesday - Friday, 7am - 4.45pm. 30 minutes unpaid break. Location : Whitley Depot, Coventry, CV3 4AR Duration: temporary basis, 3 months ongoing. Number of workers required: 4 All candidates are required to have a Valid UK Driving Licence with Class 2 entitlement. Key Responsibilities : Perform routine vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Ensure compliance with guidelines outlined in the Driver handbook/MORR Code and Highway Code. Drive and operate HGV vehicles for Waste Collection around Coventry City. Adhere strictly to driving and reversing procedures as per standard training protocols. Be responsible for a crew collecting Commercial waste and Domestic waste. Collection of Bulky Items. Professional driver - primary function, day to day driving duties. Household door to door collections, commercial waste collections, street cleaning and associated functions: Recycling collections, performance targets and reducing contamination Garden waste collections Food waste collections Domestic refuse collections Multi-occupancy properties (flats, apartments) New developments Commercial waste & recycling collection services Bulky item collections Bin delivery Mechanical sweeper operations Removal of fly tipping Essential Requirements: Provide your own steel-toe capped safety boots. Previous experience driving HGV vehicles. Valid Full UK Driving Licence. No more than 3 points on Licence will be accepted. Valid Class 2 licence, Tachograph card and Driver CPC.
