Office Manager / Senior Paraplanner

Bourne End, Buckinghamshire

£55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience

Full-Time Office-Based

A long-established and highly regarded independent financial planning firm based in Bourne End is seeking an experienced Office Manager / Senior Paraplanner to join its growing team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a respected boutique wealth management firm in a broad and influential position combining technical paraplanning responsibilities with operational oversight and team management.

The firm has built an excellent reputation over more than 26 years by delivering high-quality, jargon-free financial advice alongside outstanding client service. With a loyal and long-standing client bank, they are now looking for an experienced financial services professional to help support the next phase of the firm's growth.

The Role

This position will involve a mixture of:

  • Writing and reviewing complex suitability reports
  • Managing the advice process through to completion
  • Supporting Financial Planners with technical case preparation
  • Overseeing day-to-day office operations
  • Supervising and mentoring administrators/paraplanners
  • Ensuring high standards of compliance and client servicing

The successful candidate will become a key member of the business, helping to maintain operational efficiency while supporting the delivery of exceptional advice and service to clients.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within Financial Services
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (DipPFS or equivalent)
  • Previous Senior Paraplanning experience
  • Managerial or supervisory experience
  • Strong technical knowledge across financial planning
  • Experience using Intelligent Office (I.O.) and industry platforms
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach
