An established and highly respected engineering and manufacturing business is seeking to recruit an experienced Compliance Manager to join its growing operation in Essex.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and developing company-wide compliance systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, certifications and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and maintain compliance across quality, environmental, health & safety and operational procedures
• Manage and maintain ISO standards and associated audits
• Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance across manufacturing and operational activities
• Liaise with internal departments regarding compliance processes and improvements
• Assist with risk assessments, documentation and policy development
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
• Coordinate external audits and certification processes
• Maintain accurate compliance records and reporting documentation
Requirements:
• Previous experience within a Compliance, Quality or Regulatory role
• Experience working within engineering, manufacturing, electronics or technical environments would be highly advantageous
• Knowledge of ISO standards and auditing processes
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive and hands-on approach
• Ability to work cross-functionally within a technical business environment
