We currently have a position available in our kitchen for a sous chef. This position is a varied role within a busy hotel kitchen. Catering for residents, guests, weddings and functions, you will need to have previous experience within a busy kitchen and Salary is Negotiable We are looking for the following qualities and experience: You will have experience working in a restaurant/hotel kitchen You will be passionate about working with food cooked to order in a fast-paced environment You will have high standards and a good eye for detail You will ensure all dishes are cooked to high standards whilst being delivered at speed You will thrive working under pressure and being part of a busy team You will have great planning and organisational skills You will have a good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety. You will be able to lead a team and assist the head chef in the management of the kitchen Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards Keep waste to a minimum Carry out any reasonable duty to assist in the smooth running of the kitchen Experience Is Essential. Applicants Must Be Fully Qualified In Catering, And Possess Basic Hygiene Certificate. Ability To Work As Part Of An Established And Efficient Team In A Fast Paced Environment, As Well As On Own Initiative Is Of Vital Importance.
