Overview
We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team, overseeing and managing a range of steel construction / erection projects accross multiple loacations within the UK. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience with a strong background in construction of steel framed buildibngs and a broad understanding of disiplines within the industry.

Responsibilities

Provide best value solutions to clients whilst also maintaining consistant profit margins for the Company.
Maintain best value from apporved suppliers and / or develop networks to seek new suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing.
To maintain and enhance current client relationships and to develop new business opportunities through research, word of mouth, exisiting contracts etc.
Project handover & planning
Site surveys, programming, site inspections & ensuring project timelines are kept.
To communicate information to the fellow Manangement Team, the drawing office, shop floor and erection crews, to ensure contracts are delivered on time, to the required standards within budget, whilst maximising client satisfaction.
To be able to react to client requirements in a methodical manner to minimise the disiruption to current workflow / projects.
End of month client valuations.
Due to regular work in educaiton and HMP settings candidates must have no criminal record and preferably have an up to date DBS certificate.
Candidates should be enthused by the role and committied to helping support and grow the business.
To be able to reavel nationwide to oversee contracts on site.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Contract Management within the steel or manufacturing industry; familiarity with procurement processes is essential.
Strong knowledge of legal drafting, document review, and compliance management practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

You will be responsible for the delivery of mulitple contracts within programme and to budget and will develop positive relationships with parties associated with the contract.
