Assist customers Insurance Company surveyors in carrying out Pressure Boiler Inspections in line with Pressure Systems Regulations (PSSR 2000). Assist in the development of modifications and the fitting of upgraded components to standard equipment as may be required from time to time. Accurately administer all installation, service, and repair activities, through company systems, to reflect work completed and components used, enabling the work to be processed as initially instructed by the client. Identify and record calls attended that will be chargeable to the customer, obtaining a signature and verification of the work that has been conducted to ensure no misunderstanding with the customer at a later stage. Ensure that the spare parts allocated are maintained and replenished per established company system, and due care is taken of company tools, test, and installation equipment. Ensure that company procedures, relevant method statements, and risk assessments are always adhered to. Ensure the company vehicle provided is kept clean and tidy and is serviced at appropriate intervals. Attend training when required. Be fully aware of and adhere to Health and Safety, Fire and Security procedures. The Role Installing and setting up coffee equipment on customers premises. The role will be working to an allocated service route and attending customer sites to carry out service, repair and installation work. Conducting the demonstration of our equipment. Attending customers sites to carry out routine servicing. Experience Required Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role is advantageous. Must have previous electrical and mechanical experience. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong electrical skills and mechanical skills. Ability to show initiative and adapt to frequently changing requirements. Excellent attention to detail. To be able to follow company procedures, client specifications accurately and safely. To be able to work to deadlines and manage time effectively. A willingness to learn and attend training.
