A specialist shower solutions provider supplying to the largest outdoor events and festivals in the UK/Ireland is looking for a Mechanical Site Engineer to provide general repair, maintenance and servicing while at events and headquarters in Shepton Mallet during the off-season. The Mechanical Site Engineer will have a time served mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent in work experience, be a problem solver, and a good communicator. Applications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged Key Responsibilities are split into 2 seasonal blocks: Summer (May-Sep): Be present at the events and customer sites c. 2 months on the road, July and August mainly. Company Caravans are provided for staying on site where necessary. Organise the delivery of products by truck, unloading and sighting by HIAB or unloading by Site Telehandler (third-party) and delivery of the services by other contractors necessary to commission per deadline Organise cleaning staff arranged by the event or ourselves, and quality check, carry out some cleaning works yourself, depending on the event. Regular maintenance checks and repairs are necessary.
