Class 2 Hiab Driver

Driver Hire Colchester and Sudbury are seeking experienced and professional HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to support our clients across the CO postcode.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified HIAB / Grab lorry drivers looking for flexible work, ongoing assignments, or potential permanent positions.

The Role

• Delivering building materials and goods to commercial and residential sites
• Operating lorry loader crane safely and efficiently
• Ensuring loads are secure before transit
• Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Working in line with health & safety regulations
• Full time and part time shifts available

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Valid HIAB / Lorry Loader certificate (ALLMI or equivalent)
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
• Previous HIAB experience preferred
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures

What We Offer

• Mainly Monday to Friday day work, weekend shifts paid at a higher rate
• Competitive hourly pay - 17.58 - 24.00 p/hr
• Minimum 8hrs pay per shift
