Escalator Engineer
£36,000 £46,000 + Overtime + Company Van

Joining a well-established company with projects across the UK, you ll work on the installation, servicing, maintenance, and refurbishment of escalators, travelators, and walkways for a wide range of clients. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work while minimising disruption for customers and engineers are trusted to take real ownership on-site.
Covering locations across Birmingham, Manchester, and London, this role offers a mix of technical challenge, autonomy, and regular overtime opportunities to boost earnings. You ll be supported with a company van, tools, uniform, and a collaborative team environment where practical expertise is genuinely valued.
The role will involve:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of escalators and walkways
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Conducting safety inspections and compliance checks
- Supporting customers on-site and resolving technical issues
- Participation in an on-call rota for weekends and bank holidays
To be successful, you ll need:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience troubleshooting escalator systems
- A proactive, problem-solving approach
