You will be feeding, setting and operating a die-cutting machine. You will work in the cutting department working as part of a two man operation and oversee day-to-day tool changeover. You will also be taught the basics of running a cutting machine while covering breaks. Some of your tasks and responsibilities are as follows: You will be responsible for looking after tooling and racking in the correct location You will place defective units into quarantine to allow new tooling to be ordered in a timely manner You will study the plan to prioritise jobs for the cutting machines to ensure all job deadlines are met and work alongside your supervisor You will be responsible for housekeeping as Health and Safety routines are key to ensure a safe working environment and support the daily audits enforcing these. THE PERSON Although no formal qualifications are required, a manufacturing background is preferred.
