Technical Sales Manager / Electronics Distribution Company/ Nationwide - Field based with home office / £60,000 + car + 13.5% bonus

Working closely with leading global manufacturers, they help engineers and OEMs solve complex design challenges across industrial automation, medical, transportation, energy and IoT applications.

The Role

Responsible for the business development activities of the Sensor products throughout the UK from technical design in to commercial account management.

To identify new customers, and grow the existing customer base to increase product sales in line with budgeted sales targets

To build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.

Proactively identify new customers and target markets for the product range.

Follow-up and develop business leads with new and existing customers.

Presenting and demonstrating to customers the benefits of the products in terms of specification, quality, price, technical benefits, logistics support, timely delivery, etc.

The Person

Knowledge of key sensor products, technologies, solutions and applications.

Understanding of key sensor technologies such as temperature, environmental, accelerometers, gas sensors, glow, position, load, pressure etc.

Sales and margin to budget responsibility.

Successful track record in technical sales/FAE positions.

Preferred 2-3 years min. experience selling Sensor products.
