Job title: Forklift Operative
Job type: Temporary - Ongoing
Location: Edmonton, N18 3DJ
Pay rate: 14.97 per hour
Shifts: 12 Hour Shift
Day shift: 06:00 - 18:00 & Night: 18:00 - 06:00
(Shifts hours vary across 7 days per week and you must be fully flexible to cover any mixture of days, nights and weekends including bank holidays as you will be on a yearly shift rota)
Start date: Immediate (Successful candidates will be given a comprehensive induction and full training).
Should be flexible to work on weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Operate SAP via vehicle mount units to move goods around the warehouse.
- Remove new production stock from conveyors.
- Store pallets efficiently in the warehouse.
- Unload deliveries of full goods and load outbound vehicles for dispatch.
- Perform manual handling as needed to rebuild damaged pallets.
Requirements:
- Valid and in-date counterbalance forklift licence (in-house licence accepted as well)
- Minimum 1+ years of recent Forklift driving experience
- Ability to read, write and understand English at a good level
- Must have worked on KPIs/targets before.
