Principal Civil Engineer

Salary: 55,000 - 70,000

Key responsibilities
Lead highways and drainage design for development projects
Manage S278, S38 and S104 submissions through to approval
Check and approve drawings, calculations and technical reports
Provide mentoring and technical leadership to engineers
Coordinate with clients, architects and local authorities
Support Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
Oversee project delivery to programme and budget
Provide site involvement and construction support when required
Candidate requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering
Chartered or near Chartered with ICE
Strong UK consultancy experience in development infrastructure
Confident leadership and client-facing capability
Collaborative and commercially aware approach
