The role of Server and Cloud Engineer will have many responsibilities within the IT Department, ensuring that the Lincolnshire Police Force is maintaining high availability of systems, security standards and adhering to national security expectations, principles, policies, and procedures. Server and Cloud Engineers will diagnose faults and provide 3rd line support on IT issues raised through the IT Service Desk and will need to communicate resolutions to all levels of staff, recognising where service improvements can be made through trend analysis. The position holder will demonstrate the force values at all times. All staff involved in carrying out functions in this role will do so in accordance with the principles of the Code of Ethics. The aim of the Code of Ethics is to support each member of the policing profession to deliver the highest professional standards in their service to the public.
