Key Responsibilities Carry out general handyman duties including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor repairs Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with schedules Attend reactive maintenance jobs and emergency call-outs Conduct plumbing maintenance such as fixing leaks, replacing taps, and unblocking drains Perform minor electrical works (e.g. changing light fittings, switches) Carry out painting, decorating, and making good works Complete basic carpentry tasks (doors, locks, skirting, fittings) Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs across multiple trades Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health & safety regulations Maintain accurate job reports and documentation Requirements Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance operative, or multi-skilled tradesperson Strong knowledge of plumbing, general building maintenance, and repairs Experience carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance Ability to work independently and manage workload Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Full UK driving licence (preferred)
