Location: Alton, Hampshire, GU34 Postcode Hours: Late Shift, 1.45pm - 10.15pm , Monday to Friday Salary: Depending on Experience Start Date: ASAP Roles and Responsibilities: Operate Amada Laser Cutting Machine Identify, load job/programme, start up, and shut down machine; troubleshoot and clear alarms Change laser gas bottle, clean and replace laser tip and lens Perform set-ups and changeovers Measure parts and perform inspections Accurately prepare production records and inspection documentation Package completed parts according to their destination Maintain the lasers in good working order Maintain housekeeping within immediate working area Drive a forklift truck and operate overhead crane as required (training can be provided) Basic Skills Required: Teamwork Good planning and organisational skills Key Personality Traits Required: Ability to work efficiently under pressure Accuracy and attention to detail Effective and clear communication skills Can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Ability to align with Conquip's 5 core values For immediate consideration, please apply directly to this advert or reach out to our Head of Recruitment to discuss the role in more detail.
