Our client is a successful fabrication and manufacturing business supplying high-quality metal components to a range of industries. Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, they are looking to strengthen their production team with an experienced CNC Plasma Operator.
This is more than a standard machine operating position. You'll play a key role in the fabrication process, taking responsibility for producing precision-cut components while maintaining high quality and production standards.
Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you'll be involved in operating CNC plasma cutting machinery, quality checking finished parts, and supporting wider fabrication activities across the workshop.
Set and operate CNC plasma cutting machinery
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Load and unload sheet metal and fabrication materials
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required
Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
Perform basic machine maintenance and fault finding
Support fabrication and assembly activities when required
Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
Maintain high housekeeping and health & safety standards
We would like to hear from candidates with experience in:
CNC plasma, laser, punch or profile cutting operations
Fabrication, welding or sheet metal manufacturing
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Quality inspection and dimensional checking
Manufacturing or engineering environments
You will be a reliable, hands-on individual who enjoys working within a fast-paced workshop and takes pride in producing quality work.
