Title: EC&I Technician Location: Hampshire Duration: Permanent Our client is looking for an EC&I Technician to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the plant by delivering high-quality maintenance and technical support across all EC&I systems. Responsibilities: Provide expert EC&I maintenance support to maximise plant availability and operational efficiency. Advise management on safety issues and support continuous improvement of safety performance. Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements for both routine and defect-based maintenance tasks. Perform planned maintenance (PM) inspections on all safety instrumented systems. Respond to breakdowns and carry out routine maintenance tasks as required. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and operational discipline in all work areas. Assist with planning and execution of plant maintenance shutdowns. Recommend system modifications or maintenance enhancements to improve performance and reliability. Requirements: Strong background in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation maintenance . CompEx certified with proven experience in hazardous area working practices. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient commissioning of control, instrumentation, and electrical systems within one of the UK's most complex and highly regulated industrial environments. Key Responsibilities Witness and verify vendor testing at works test stage. Prepare plant commissioning test specifications.
