Marine Electrician (Offshore) Permanent PositionSalary: £43,000-£49,000 p/a + company van Monday to FridayAberdeen Marine Electrician (Offshore) Job Description • Carry out installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of AC/DC and LV marine electrical systems and equipment• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults on offshore and marine assets• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities to ensure equipment reliability and compliance• Install, terminate, and test electrical cabling, switchboards, control panels, motors, generators, and associated equipment• Conduct inspection, testing, and commissioning of AC/DC and LV electrical systems• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation• Support commissioning, upgrades, and modification projects on electrical systems• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with offshore, marine, and electrical industry standards• Liaise with clients, vessel crews, and internal departments to deliver projects effectively• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and certification documentation• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices Marine Electrician (Offshore) Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications • Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification• Minimum 5 years' experience within the electrical or marine industry• Experience working with AC/DC and LV electrical systems within marine, offshore, industrial, or heavy engineering environments• Strong fault-finding, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting skills• Experience with motors, generators, switchboards, control panels, and distribution systems• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings• Experience with electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning activities• Good understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements within offshore environments• Excellent communication and organisational skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you, or anyone you know are interested in the role, click apply or send your CV to
