Welder Fabricator / Body Builder

Job Type: Full-time (Permanent)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week
Pay: £39k+ per year (depending on experience)

We re currently recruiting for an experienced Welder to join a leading vehicle manufacturing and fleet solutions provider. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking to take the next step in their career within a high-quality, innovation-driven production environment.

The Role
As a Welder Fabricator / Body Builder, you will play a vital role in the production team, transforming technical blueprints into high-quality vehicle bodies. You ll be working with advanced welding techniques and modern fabrication tools to ensure every vehicle meets exacting standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate and assemble vehicle bodies.

  • Carry out precision welding and fabrication using various techniques and tools.

  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets required standards.

  • Collaborate with design and production teams to overcome challenges and improve processes.

  • Maintain accurate work records and documentation for all builds and modifications.

  • Comply with health and safety regulations, keeping a clean and safe working area.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Welder, Fabricator, or Body Builder, ideally within a production or automotive environment.

  • Skilled in a range of welding and fabrication techniques.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detail.

  • Relevant welding or fabrication certifications are desirable.

  • A proactive, reliable team player with strong problem-solving abilities.
