Job Title: Electrician Location: Chesterfield (and surrounding areas) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Job Purpose We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join a busy property services team delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance and installation work across a diverse domestic housing portfolio. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical works safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing, inspection, and installation work in domestic properties. Complete electrical condition reports, periodic inspections, and certification in line with current regulations. Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works across a range of domestic electrical systems and installations. Ensure all work complies with current legislation, industry standards, and safe working practices, including the Electricity at Work Regulations. Carry out full or partial rewires, upgrades, and new installations where required. Test and verify completed works to ensure safety, integrity, and compliance. Maintain accurate documentation, including certificates and job records, using handheld/mobile systems. Work efficiently to complete jobs within agreed timescales, minimising downtime and maximising productivity.
