Raising and issuing sales invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution (Accounts Receivable). Processing supplier invoices, matching to POs where applicable, and preparing payment runs (Accounts Payable). Monitoring supplier accounts, chasing missing invoices, and requesting supporting documentation where required. Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice/payment queries promptly. Supporting the finance team in meeting tight reporting deadlines by keeping records fully up to date. Maintaining accurate and organised financial records in the accounting system. Attending periodic meetings with directors. What skills are we looking for? Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or withing a similar transactional role. Hands-on experience using Xero accounting software. An understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, VAT, and bank reconciliations. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain accuracy. Confident in communicating with suppliers, customers, and colleagues to chase information and resolve queries. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and keep financial records up to date. What's on offer?
