Role Overview: Zenovo are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their client in Cambridge who design and manufacture globally recognised consumer products. An ideal candidate will have at least 5-Years of Commercial Experience in a Product Development Environment, having been involved in taking Products through from Concept to Manufacturing. They will also be capable of leading and mentoring junior engineers when needed. Job Responsibilities: Develop new product concepts and prototypes with cross-functional engineering teams. Create practical and manufacturable product designs. Produce 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. Select materials and manufacturing processes for product development. Design components for injection moulding, die casting, extrusion, and sheet metal fabrication. Perform engineering analysis, testing, and design validation.
