PDI Technician

We are currently recruiting for our client, a franchised dealership group in Newcastle, Tyne and Wear, for a PDI Technician.

Benefits for the PDI Technician:

• Basic salary up to 34,000 depending on qualifications
• OTE c 41,230
• Monday to Friday hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm
• 1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:30am to 12:30pm
• Overtime available
• 30 days annual leave including bank holidays

Duties of the PDI Technician:

• Carry out pre-delivery inspection and preparation of vehicles to dealership and manufacturer standards
• Ensure mechanical and electrical checks are completed accurately and documented correctly
• Identify and rectify faults prior to handover, maintaining high quality workmanship throughout
• Prepare vehicles for customer delivery in line with group procedures and timelines
• Maintain compliance with manufacturer requirements and internal quality standards as a PDI Technician

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar PDI Technician role
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge, with the ability to work to a high standard
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; NVQ Level 3 will be provided/available
• Full UK driving licence
