About the role As Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of keeping the hospice running smoothly You'll: • Coordinate and support a small, dedicated team of staff and volunteers to deliver exceptional standards.• Plan and oversee high-quality cleaning schedules across the hospice • Manage rotas, performance, and day-to-day operations • Ensure outstanding standards of cleanliness, safety and infection control • Oversee stock, equipment and housekeeping systems • Collaborate closely with care, catering and facilities teams to create a seamless experience for families • From preparing children's bedrooms to ensuring communal spaces feel calm and cared for, your work helps create a true home-from-home atmosphere. About you You are someone who leads with both professionalism and compassion. You'll bring: • Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles, including supervising a team • A strong eye for detail and a commitment to high standards• Knowledge of health & safety and cleaning best practice • Confidence in leading, motivating and developing others• Excellent communication and people skills• A flexible, positive approach to a varied and active role• Above all, you'll reflect our values-kind, dedicated, collaborative and committed to making a difference.
