Are you a manufacturing engineer looking for a varied position, offering a structured training and development program, in an evolving role with progression?
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established, growing manufacturing company where you will work closely with the experienced manufacturing development engineer, gaining valuable knowledge as you transition smoothly into the role.
You will be working within a low volume, high-mix manufacturing environment, the company produce small quantities throughout the day with a focus on assembly, and are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience who can confidently troubleshoot issues on the shop floor, applying models such as Six Sigma and Lean in a practical, real-world context.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment, able to adapt processes quickly, and communicate solutions in a clear and approachable way to support the wider team.
You will be involved in a range of projects across the site, with an involvement in health and safety, CI, NPI and more.
This position is ideal for a technically strong and adaptable engineer with broad exposure across multiple manufacturing environments, who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys driving improvement across a diverse range of projects.

The Role:
Manufacturing Development Engineer
Optimise Manufacturing processes and systems
Troubleshoot issues on the shop floor
Increase efficiencies, reducing waste and minimising costs
Support CI and and NPI projects
The Candidate:
Proven experience in a manufacturing engineer, development engineer role or similar
Broad experience within a range of manufacturing industries/environments
Based in a Commutable distance to Walsall
