Duties of the General Sales Manager:

• Lead, motivate, and develop the automotive sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and profitability
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service standards
• Oversee the complete vehicle sales process from prospecting to closing
• Monitor team performance, providing coaching, feedback, and motivation
• Build and sustain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations

Requirements of the General Sales Manager:

• Prior experience as a General Sales Manager or in a senior sales management role within the automotive sector
• Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets and managing teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of automotive industry trends and customer preferences
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Strong customer focus with a results-driven approach
