Refrigeration Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected company seeking a dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join their team in Trafford Park. Duties of a Refrigeration Engineer:

• Servicing and maintaining refrigeration units, including GAH HVAC systems and Thermo King / Carrier refrigeration equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults
• Performing planned preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability as a Refrigeration Engineer
• Conducting F-Gas compliant work in accordance with industry standards
• Completing detailed service reports and documentation as a Refrigeration Engineer
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations

Requirements of a Refrigeration Engineer:

• Proven experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or PWC systems preferred
• Knowledge of GAH, Thermo King, and Carrier refrigeration systems advantageous; willingness to learn essential
• Strong fault-finding skills in electrical and mechanical systems
• F-Gas certification is mandatory
• Relevant engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on-site
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
