Master Technician / Senior Diagnostic Technician
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: Competitive Basic Salary + Generous Bonus Scheme / OTE £55,000+
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent


Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5:30pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. No weekend working.

THE ROLE
As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs to the highest manufacturer standards while supporting the wider workshop team with your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities include:
Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults
Servicing and repairing customer vehicles within agreed timescales
Carrying out maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards
Completing job cards accurately and within company deadlines
Supporting colleagues with technical guidance and diagnostic expertise
Working efficiently to achieve workshop targets and productivity goals
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Following all health, safety, and quality procedures

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Master Technician, Senior Technician, or Diagnostic Technician
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Servicing and Repair
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience carrying out servicing, repairs, and advanced vehicle diagnostics
A proven track record working within a busy workshop environment
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A professional and customer-focused approach
Full UK Driving Licence
