Role: Lead Healthcare Design EngineerType: Permanent, Full TimeHours: Onsite - 37.5 hours per weekSalary:£45,000 per annum + Benefits Location: Wolverhampton Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for an experiencedDesign Engineer within Healthcare to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business. Lead Healthcare Design Engineer - Key responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Wiring and Planning Engineers to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high performance standards.
• Manage workload allocation, resource planning and project priorities to ensure all work is delivered on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee the creation, review and approval of wiring schematics, software and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing robust quality assurance, document control and 3D design processes across the department.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure effective project delivery, seamless workflow integration and a customer-focused approach to design and planning activities.

Lead Healthcare Design Engineer - Essential Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrable experience leading and managing technical engineering, design or planning teams within a fast-paced project environment.
• Relevant qualifications in engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, system design principles and relevant standards, including BS 7671, ISO 19650 and IEC/BS EN 60601.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or similar, with experience producing and reviewing technical drawings and documentation.
• Excellent organisational and resource management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and manage multiple projects effectively.
