Job Description

Overview
We are seeking skilled chefs to join our kitchen team across two new Forest venues in Woodgreen (Horse & Groom) and Breamore (Bat & Ball). The Horse & Groom is well established whilst the Bat & Ball is new to our 'family' and is reopening after a six month closure. There is freedom to be creative to help deliver great menus and experiences in either, or both pubs/restaurants.

Depending on the candidates, a Head Chef role may be available too!

Duties
- Support the Hd Chef in managing the kitchen and staff
- Create and update menus in line with seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
- Supervise food preparation to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to meet financial targets and customer satisfaction goals

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry (or a great desire to learn fast and develop a chef career)
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
- Proficient in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production and menu planning
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Excellent organisational skills to manage kitchen workflow effectively

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
