Location: Bath (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £27,000

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused 1st Line IT Support Analyst to join a growing IT team. This is an opportunity to go beyond traditional helpdesk support, gaining exposure to Microsoft 365, cloud technologies, IT security, automation and AI-driven processes.
You'll be the first point of contact for IT support across the business, helping users resolve technical issues while ensuring systems remain secure, efficient and well-managed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing 1st line support via the service desk, Microsoft Teams and in person.
- Managing user accounts, permissions and access across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams and Azure DevOps.
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, including account creation and device setup.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and user issues.
- Triaging alerts from Azure Monitor and Microsoft Defender.
- Maintaining IT assets, software licensing and service desk records.
- Supporting users remotely and delivering excellent customer service.
- Working alongside an AI-assisted ticketing system, helping improve its effectiveness over time.
- Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.
What We're Looking For

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online).
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of IT support fundamentals and security best practices.
Nice to Have
- Previous IT support or service desk experience.
- Knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD), endpoint management or networking fundamentals.
- Experience working within an ITIL environment.
- Interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies.
