Accounts & Tax Supervisor - Film, TV & Media Clients

Job Purpose:

• This medium size accountancy firm based in a prime location in Central London is looking for a new Accounts Supervisor / Accounts Assistant Manager with between 1 and 3 years PQE to join their busy and growing accountancy and business services department.
• The aim is to provide first class accountancy services to a wide range of clients, most from the Film, TV, Creative, Media and Entertainment sectors.
• Most clients will be small to medium in size but will include some groups and international companies.

Responsibilities:

• Your role will be varied and include managing your own portfolio of clients, and ensuring all clients are serviced to a high standard.
• Reviewing work prepared by other staff members.
• The preparation of more complex FRS 102 and 105 statutory accounts from start to finish, drafting corporation tax returns, personal tax returns and reviewing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments.
• Managing and training more junior staff members, as well as helping with ad hoc assignments to help the team where necessary.
• Training and support will be provided where necessary.

Requirements:

• Fully ACA or ACCA qualified with between 1 and 3 years post qualification experience.
• Currently working as a Senior / Supervisor / Assistant Manager in a good quality accountancy firm.
• Experience of preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments is required.
• Experience of cloud based software packages.
• A desire to learn, progress and do well in a medium size accountancy firm based in Zone 1 Central London.
