This role is for a part time role only of 18.5 hours per week.
This role requires substantial experience within mental health nursing. While experience in substance use services is advantageous, applicants must be able to demonstrate strong mental health assessment, risk management and care coordination skills gained within mental health settings.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our Mental Health and Public Health Substance Use Service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled mental health practitioner to work with individuals experiencing complex mental health needs, substance use challenges and co-occurring conditions. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care whilst providing clinical leadership and professional support to colleagues.
The successful candidate will have significant experience within mental health services and be confident in undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments, risk assessments, crisis interventions and care planning. Experience of working within substance use services is desirable but not essential, as we welcome applications from experienced RMNs looking to develop their expertise within this specialist field.
