We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable motor trade business based in Croydon, for the position of Accounts Assistant. This role offers a valuable opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to join a well-established company in a dynamic automotive environment.

Duties as a Accounts Assistant:
- Managing purchase ledger processes and supplier payments accurately
- Assisting with sales ledger duties and account reconciliations
- Posting cash and bank transactions efficiently
- Conducting regular account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Providing general administrative support to the accounts team
- Ensuring adherence to financial procedures and deadlines
Requirements for the Accounts Assistant position:
- Proven experience with Sage 50 accounting software
- Previous experience in purchase and sales ledger roles
- Strong organisational skills and ability to reconcile accounts accurately
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrable reliability and efficient work ethic
