NDT Level 2 Technician
Location: Near Uxbridge (Commutable from Uxbridge, Denham, Gerrards Cross, Slough, High Wycombe, Watford, Harrow, Maidenhead, Windsor and surrounding areas)
Salary: Up to 45,000 DOE

Syntech Recruitment is partnering with a leading aerospace and defence manufacturer near Uxbridge, seeking an experienced NDT Level 2 Technician to join their Inspection department. Working on safety-critical aerospace components, you'll play a vital role in ensuring products meet the highest quality and safety standards before they leave the facility.

The Role
As an NDT Level 2 Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of non-destructive testing activities to verify the integrity of aerospace components while ensuring full compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Your duties will include:
Carrying out non-destructive testing on aerospace components
Performing Radiographic Testing (RT), Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) processes
Assembling and preparing test items in accordance with company procedures
Monitoring radiation shielding levels within the radiography facility
Completing chemical testing of DPI and MPI processes
Producing and maintaining inspection and testing documentation
Operating computerised inspection systems
Supporting continuous improvement activities within the inspection department
About You
You'll ideally have:
PCN or NAS 410 Level 2 certification (essential)
Previous aerospace NDT experience
Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
Knowledge of Radiographic Testing, DPI and MPI processes
Experience using computerised inspection systems
Good understanding of quality systems and inspection documentation
SAP and general PC skills
Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures
Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
