The successful Head of Ecology will oversee project delivery, support business development and provide technical leadership across a diverse project portfolio. Based near Cambridge, this role offers significant scope for professional influence and career progression.

The role:

• Lead and manage the ecology team
  Oversee ecological surveys, assessments and reporting
  Provide technical expertise and quality assurance
  Develop and maintain client relationships
  Support business growth and tender submissions
  Mentor and develop ecologists across the team
  Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Significant consultancy experience, ideally at Head of Ecology level
  Strong knowledge of UK ecological legislation and planning policy
  Proven leadership and team management experience
  Excellent project management and report writing skills
  Experience managing client relationships and project delivery
  Full UK driving licence
  Full right to work in the UK
  Must live in or near the Cambridge office location
  Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
