Part 145 Safety Investigator
Line Up Aviation is recruiting for an experienced Part 145 Safety Investigator to support a busy aviation maintenance organisation on a temporary contract basis.
The role will support the team with a backlog of aviation safety reports. The successful contractor must have proven experience in aviation safety reporting and safety investigations, ideally within a Part 145 / aircraft maintenance environment.
This is not a general Compliance and Safety role. The client requires someone with in-depth knowledge of safety reporting and investigation, supported by a strong safety training background. Investigation training is especially important for this requirement.

Contract: Minimum 6 months, with review for possible extension
Rate: Competitive daily rate
Hours: Ideally full-time
Start: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Review aviation safety reports and support the team in working through a backlog
- Carry out or support safety investigations in line with internal processes
- Identify contributing factors, root causes and appropriate corrective actions
- Support the progression and closure of safety reports
- Work with the Compliance & Safety team and relevant operational stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience with safety reports / safety reporting within an aviation environment
- Strong understanding of safety reporting and investigation processes
- Safety training background essential
- Formal investigation training strongly preferred
- Experience within a Part 145 / aircraft maintenance environment preferred
- Previous B1 Licensed Engineer or aircraft engineering experience would be advantageous
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must be able to commit to the task, ideally on a full-time basis
