Assembly Operative

All Square Recruitment is recruiting Assembly Operatives with a focus on sheet metal work. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking long-term employment with clear progression paths in a supportive, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position.

As an Assembly Operative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, with a strong emphasis on sheet metal fabrication diagrams.
• Working to precise specifications to ensure high-quality output.
• Fabricating and assembling sheet metal components using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Collaborating effectively with team members to optimise production processes.
• Manual handling, which may involve some heavy lifting.
• Adhering strictly to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
• Participating in full training and induction programs.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Ideal candidates will have:

• Proven experience in an assembly/production role.
• Confidence and proficiency in using tools and machinery (e.g., brakes, shears, drills, grinders).
• The ability to read and accurately interpret drawings and instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Punctuality, reliability, and a strong motivation to learn and develop new skills.

Assembly Operative - Available Shifts (Flexibility required)

Monday to Friday (Weekday and Saturday Overtime available - Up to £19.19 per hour!)

• 06:00 till 14:00 / 6am till 2pm (£13.80 per hour)
• 07:00 till 3:30pm / 7am till 3:30pm (£12.87 per hour)
• 13:45 till 22:00 / 1:45pm till 10pm (£14.82 per hour)
