Job Description

Valuations Associate Partner

Location: LondonSalary: 100-125K + Profit Share + Benefits

The Firm

Fast-growing independent tax and accountancy practice with national reach and ambitious expansion plans. They're building out their Valuations team and the leadership has serious pedigree (20+ years at the top).

What sets them apart? No timesheets. Genuine work-life balance. Hybrid working that's been embedded for years, not a grudging pandemic concession. They're serious about creating a different kind of practice.

The Valuations Associate Partner Role

We're looking for an experienced valuations professional to join a team working across multiple sectors and varied projects. Whether you're a Senior Manager ready to step up or an Associate Partner/Director seeking something different, there's real scope here.

The work spans tax-advantaged option plans, employment-related securities, CGT transactions, probate values, corporate reorganisations and debt restructuring. Proper variety with strong support around you.

What You Need

Valuations Associate Partner level: 10+ years in tax with strong valuations exposure

  • Experience across various valuation methodologies (ordinary shares, growth shares, ratchet shares, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of employment-related securities and employee incentive arrangements
  • Knowledge of tax-advantaged and non-tax-advantaged share schemes
  • Direct client and intermediary experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Interest in developing junior team members
  • CTA and/or ACA preferred but not essential
What's On Offer
  • Competitive salary (regularly benchmarked against Big Four)
  • All-Employee Share Reward Scheme (genuine profit share)
  • Generous benefits package
  • No timesheets (yes, really)
  • Hybrid working as standard
  • Actual work-life balance
  • National firm with growth opportunities
  • High-quality work without the Big Four politics
  • Full-time preferred but flexible/part-time considered

This is a rare opportunity to join a London firm that's growing quickly but hasn't sacrificed culture for scale. You'll work with talented people on interesting projects, without the bureaucracy or billable hour obsession that comes with larger practices.
