Responsibilities: Working as part of the assembly team to produce LRU's to the daily going rate. Re-work of circuit boards to IPC7711/7721 standard involving removal/replacement of surface mount components. Working on repair and processing of LRU's through troubleshoot ensuring correct use of in-house systems. Use of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the test of product. Use electronic systems to track repairs and update correctly. Check Assemblies meet quality standards and seek advice from supervisor or Manufacturing Engineer as necessary. Work with other Cell members using lean manufacturing techniques and participate in lean production activities. Maintain housekeeping in cell using 5S+1 techniques.
