The Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner who can programme, set and operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components and tooling.

You will be working on low to medium volume batches, ensuring components are manufactured to specification while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC turning machines.
• Produce components to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform first-off inspections and maintain quality throughout production.
• Optimise machining processes to maximise efficiency.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Work as part of a skilled engineering team.

Essential Requirements

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Fanuc programming experience.
• Experience with mainstream CNC lathes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Experience

• Experience operating Doosan CNC lathes with live tooling.
• Previous experience machining:
  • Precision components for a variety of engineering industries.

Working Hours

Day Shift Only

• Monday to Thursday
• 6:30am 4:30pm
• 38 hours per week
• Permanent 4-day working week

Salary

• £18.00 £22.50 per hour
• Salary dependent on skills and experience.
