You'll be a proactive problem solver who takes ownership, works confidently within established processes, and knows when to challenge the status quo to deliver the right outcome. Strong relationship-building skills, visible leadership, and the ability to coach and engage others are essential, along with a genuine commitment to continuous improvement and raising standards across the site every day.

How will you make an impact

As part of the QEHS team, you'll:

  • Drive quality, food safety, and compliance standards across the site, ensuring adherence to company policies, customer requirements, and relevant legislation.
  • Champion a strong quality and food safety culture, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Provide specialist QEHS expertise, supporting risk assessments, incident investigations, crisis management, and product/process improvements.
  • Lead key compliance activities, including internal audits, pest control management, laboratory support, and corrective action processes.
  • Act as a site leader for security and QEHS projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a safe, secure, and high-performing workplace.

What will you need to succeed

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in one or more QEHS disciplines, typically gained over 3+ years, or a recent degree in a relevant discipline with the enthusiasm to develop.
  • A proactive approach and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for delivering high standards.
  • A NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification (desirable).
