Key Responsibilities Prepare vehicles and panels ready for painting, including sanding, masking and priming. Assist with mixing paint and applying manufacturer-approved paint systems under supervision. Carry out polishing, rectification and final finishing to achieve high-quality results. Learn colour matching and blending techniques using modern refinishing equipment. Work closely with Paint Technicians, Panel Beaters and MET Technicians throughout the repair process. Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards and company quality procedures. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills while developing into a fully competent Paint Technician. ABOUT YOU We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for automotive refinishing who is eager to develop their career within the accident repair industry. You'll ideally have: Currently completing, or recently completed, an Automotive Paint Technician Apprenticeship. A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Accident Repair (Paint) or Automotive Refinishing is desirable. Basic knowledge of vehicle preparation and paint refinishing techniques. Excellent attention to detail with a desire to produce high-quality workmanship. A positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn from experienced colleagues. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong work ethic, reliability and enthusiasm for developing a long-term career. Good organisational skills and the ability to follow manufacturer repair methods. Full UK Driving Licence (or working towards obtaining one) would be advantageous.
