Gray Recruitment Specialists
Programme Integration Lead
Gray Recruitment Specialists
Programmes of this size rarely fail inside a workstream. They fail in the gaps between them. This role owns the gaps. You will hold the single integrated view of a complex multi-supplier transformation programme in central government, so that workstreams, dependencies and decisions resolve into one deliverable plan rather than several competing ones. What you will actually do Maintain one integrated plan that every workstream and supplier recognises as theirs, not as something imposed on them Surface dependencies before they become issues, and drive each to a named owner and a date Keep commercial, service design, operational and transition activity aligned, so a decision in one place does not quietly break another Broker resolution where workstreams disagree on sequencing or priority, escalating only what genuinely needs a senior decision Give senior leaders a programme-wide read they can act on: what is on track, what is not, and what needs deciding this month Protect the critical path, and make sure everyone else knows where it runs Re-plan when funding, policy or supplier circumstances shift, which on a programme this length they will Build the integration rhythm and artefacts so the client can sustain them after we leave Where the role sits Reporting to the engagement lead and working alongside the client's Programme Director. You will sit above the individual workstreams without owning any of them, which makes influence rather than authority the operating mode. You will work closely with the PMO Analyst, who supplies the underlying data, and with the Transition Lead where supplier-facing dependencies bite. What we are looking for Someone who has owned delivery, not just reported on it. A track record integrating or leading workstreams on complex programmes, with genuine dependency and milestone management across multiple suppliers and internal delivery partners. You will need to be able to scope a plan from an ambiguous starting point rather than waiting for one to arrive, the analytical ability to interrogate a plan someone else built, the credibility to challenge a workstream lead more senior than you, and the willingness to keep the plan honest when there is pressure to show green. Public sector transformation or outsourcing background expected. Supplier-side experience is a real advantage, because knowing how the other side plans, reports and hedges changes how you read what they tell you. Useful but not essential: GMPP or NISTA assurance exposure, MSP, PRINCE2 or APM, planning tool fluency, Agile at scale where delivery methods are mixed. Clearance Live SC clearance is required at the point of application. Clearance sponsored by a large central government department shortens mobilisation considerably. We cannot sponsor new clearance for this engagement. Rate We have not fixed a rate. Tell us what you work to and we will have that conversation early rather than at offer stage. As a guide, we are benchmarking this role in the region of £550 to £675 per day. To apply To apply, send your CV with your clearance level, sponsoring department, expiry date, availability and day rate expectation.

TXP
SQL/Data Analyst (T-SQL, Azure Data Factory, Fabric, SSIS, ERP)
TXP Dudley, West Midlands
SQL/Data Analyst Duration: Initially 6 weeks - Likely to extend Location: Dudley, West Midlands - must be able to travel on a hybrid basis To 400.00 Per Day - Outside IR35 TXP Technology are seeking an accomplished SQL/Data Analyst to work on a Data Platform Project for a leading manufacturer in the West Midlands. The successful candidate must be able to start in August 2026 and travel to Dudley as required. Role Overview We're looking for a highly motivated, Midlands based SQL/Data Analyst to join our data team. This role fits a person who can validate, and chase down root cause, as well and help understand and contribute to the migration from an Informatica driven Data Warehouse to a Microsoft Fabric architecture, ensure that we match the existing data supplied to the business or understand why it has changed. You'll work across multiple source systems (ERP platforms, data warehouses, Lakehouse pipelines) where data doesn't always arrive clean, column names don't always mean what you'd expect, and pipeline failures need a calm, methodical investigator rather than a guesser. Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on SQL skills in T-SQL. Also comfortable adapting to others such as Oracle/PL-SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Demonstrable experience reading and debugging other people's queries/code - not just writing your own from scratch. Experience working with ERP or legacy source systems a strong plus (e.g. JDE, QAD, SAP, Dynamics/Axapta) - comfortable with quirky column naming conventions, Julian-style dates, and inconsistent data types across sources. Strong analytical and root cause analysis mindset - instinctively asks "why did this actually happen" rather than stopping at "it works now." Familiarity with Python or PySpark for notebook-based transformation logic a plus, not essential. Experience with Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, or similar) as we break apart an old process and migrate to MS Fabric If your profile demonstrates strong and recent experience in the above areas - please submit your application to Jackie Dean at TXP for consideration. Please note due to the high volume of applications and to ensure a fair process, we are unable to accept phone calls. All applications must be submitted online. Rest assured, our team will review your application and provide an update via email as soon as possible TXP takes great pride in representing socially responsible clients who not only prioritise diversity and inclusion but also actively combat social inequality. About The Role What does it take for a whole charity to trust the numbers it relies on? Effective finance systems, and the technical expert who keeps them that way. At Alzheimer's Society, that expert could be you. About the opportunity As Finance Systems Analyst, you'll be our in-house expert on the finance systems that keep the Society running. You'll sit in our Finance Systems and Data team, part of the Finance and Assurance directorate, and report to the Systems Accountant. You'll also line manage our Finance Systems Administrator. Finance and Assurance have a clear vision. We want to be the Society's single point of truth. We are trusted partners and credible experts, and we work as one team. You'll help make that real. You'll embed and improve Unit4 and the systems around it, so colleagues have the tools and insight they need. This is a hands-on, technical role with real influence. You'll give second-line support and solve the tricky problems. You'll turn what people need into clear system changes. And you'll be the steward of the change process, so every update is logged, tested and signed off. You'll build and look after the integrations between Unit4 and other systems. You'll also shape the reports and dashboards that turn raw data into insight. About you You're a finance systems specialist who enjoys solving technical problems and improving how things work. You're comfortable in the detail, you work well across teams, and you're committed to helping others learn. You're always looking for a more efficient way to do things. You'll have: - Proven experience of Unit4 ERPx or another ERP finance system. Experience of Avalara and Proactis would be a bonus. - Experience of building reports with tools such as Unit4 FP&A, Power BI, Tableau or Excel. - A track record of building, fixing and caring for system integrations . - Good knowledge of core accounting, ideally in a large organisation, and a part-qualified CCAB award or equivalent experience. - Experience of managing system configuration change, from small tweaks to system upgrades and patches. - Sharp problem-solving skills, with a knack for the right fix. - Leading and coaching skills that help others learn, grow and do their best work. - The proven ability to work across teams and levels to get things done. - Demonstratable experience documenting business requirements and technical specifications, ensuring a shared understanding across a range of stakeholders. What you'll focus on - Line managing the Finance Systems Administrator and standing in for the Systems Accountant when needed. - Being our subject expert on Unit4 ERPx, Unit4 FP&A and the wider finance system landscape. - Helping design efficient processes that meet the rules and keep data safe. - Turning user needs into clear specs and keeping change control tight. Every change is logged, tested and approved. - Solving complex system issues, on your own or with suppliers and colleagues. - Supporting audits with the facts and figures they need. - Helping deliver upgrades, patches and new features, and easing them into daily use. - Building and caring for the integrations between Unit4 and systems such as Proactis, Clarity and Avalara. - Improving our reports and dashboards with Unit4 FP&A, the Information Browser and Power BI. - Running learning sessions that grow confidence in the system. - Championing good use of the system and gently challenging off-system workarounds. - Building trust across Finance, Assurance and the wider Society.
